Seth Earns All-Conference Honors

| By:

POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State golfer Tya Seth became the first Bengal since 2004 to earn Big Sky All-Conference honors. Seth garnered third-team all-conference honors.

Seth is only the 11th golfer in program history to garner all-conference accolades.

"I am excited for Tya to be selected all-conference," Idaho State coach Dallen Atkins said. "She has actually deserved that spot the last few years. She has worked her butt off and earned that spot. She is the very definition of who we areas the Idaho State women's golf team. She is an amazing example for what we strive for constantly and it rubs off on everyone on this team. Excited to have her back for one more season. and possibly get her to the first-team next season. She is easily one of the best players in the conference."

Seth is etching her name throughout the Idaho State record books. In the last two seasons she has five rounds of par or better, more than any Idaho State golfer.

She also has seven of the top 12 scores for a round at Idaho State. She has shot 71 six times in her career and a 72 once.

This year she scored the third, fourth and fifth best scores for a 54-hole tournament as she had a 224 at the Hobble Creek Classic and a 226 at the Kelsey Chugg Invitational and Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational.

Seth and the Bengals are closing the 2021-22 season at the Big Sky Golf Championships in Scottsdale, Ariz.
