POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State Bengals women's tennis team ended their 2024 season with a No. 8 Mountain Region ranking in the final ITA regional tennis rankings of the season, and were the highest-rated team in the region from the Big Sky Conference.
On the roster, Idaho State had four members of their team receive All-Conference honors.
Lola O'Lideadha was named to the Singles First Team and sister,
Sol O'Lideadha was named to the Singles Second Team. Together the O'Lideadha's were named to the Doubles First Team.
Stefanya Shalakhova had a breakout season, as the sophomore earned the nod for the Singles Honorable Mention team as well as being named to the Doubles Second Team with partner,
Asem Shoybek.
The Bengals ended the season with a 13-6 overall record and 6-2 in Big Sky Conference play, winning the program's first-ever Big Sky Regular Season Championship.
