Bengal Track and Field to Continue 2025 Season with Snake River Open

POCATELLO, Idaho - The Bengals are starting the year with new resolutions to make their mark on the track. 

 

Idaho State Men's and Women's Track and Field teams are set to kick off the new year with the Snake River Open, running from January 16-17 at the ICCU Dome. The Snake River Open is the first of three home events for Idaho State this season followed by the Bengal Invitational in May.

 

Day one of the meet begins with the Multis running in the women's pentathlon and the men's heptathlon. The women's pole vault competition will also take place day one. 

 

Day two of the meet is jam packed with events all day inside of the ICCU Dome. The day begins with the conclusion of the heptathlon and the long jump at 12:00 PM and is set to go with the last event schedule for 7:35 PM MT.

The Bengals will compete against the College of Southern Idaho and a variety of schools from Utah, including the University of Utah, Utah Tech, Utah State, Weber State, Southern Utah, Utah Valley, Salt Lake Community College, Westminster University, and Brigham Young University. Representing Montana are Montana Technological University, Montana Western, and Carroll College. Additionally, the Jackson Hole Running Club and TLG have confirmed their attendance.
