POCATELLO, Idaho - Idaho State Track and Field wrapped up its 2025 outdoor season at the 2025 NCAA West Region First Round meet in College Station, Texas this weekend.Â
The Meet began Wednesday with
Jay Wadley and
Maddix Blazovich taking the field for the discus throw an the pole vault. Wadley competed in the first of his two competitions this weekend in the men's shot put. Wadley had his best throw of the day on his third attempt with a launch of 17.26m (56-7.5). the mark placed Wadley at 41st in the west and wrapped up his year in the shot put.Â
First up was Blazovich, competing in the pole vault. though the Bengal freshman no heighted to wrap up his first year for the Bengals, Blazovich finishes 2025 with a Big Sky medal and momentum moving forward into 2026.
Thursday saw two Bengals go toe-to-toe with the best athletes in the west. Elliotte Stockham in the pole vault and Katelyn Dickemore in the Javelin.Â
Dickemore, in the Javelin, finished 43rd in the West. On her first of three throw attempts, the Bengal threw a mark of 41.29m (135-5). Dickemore was followed by Elliotte Stockham jumping the pole vault. Stockham cleared her first height of 4.02m (13- 2 ¼) before falling on the next, finishing as the 35th pole vaulter in the west.

Friday, Jay Wadley was back in the men's discus throw. Wadley finished top-30 in the West when, on his first throw, marked a distance of 55.32m (181-6). The throw was good for 28th in the West.Â

The meet concluded Saturday with Kylee Dimick in the women's high jump.Dimick jumped through three rounds of the event, clearing 1.76m (5-9 ½) on her final attempt at the height. Dimick finished the meet 30th in the West.
