POCATELLO, Idaho - After a regular season and championship meet's worth of hard work and determination, the Idaho State Bengals are set for the 2025 NCAA Divison I Outdoor Track and Field first round.
The West Region is hosted by Texas A&M and will take place may 28-31 in College Station, Texas.
Five Bengals qualified for the meet with their performances on the year; Jay Wadley in the men's discus and and shot put, Elliotte Stockham in the women's pole vault, Kylee Dimick in the women's high jump, Katelyn Dickemore in the women's javelin and Maddix Blazovich in the men's pole vault.

Jay Wadley - Discus and Shot Put
Wadley punched his ticket to the NCAA First Round meet with fantastic performances in both the shot put and discus. At the 2025 Bengal Invitational, Wadley threw his best mark of the year, 18.30m (60' 0.5") winning the event, with the 41st best throw in the West this year. Wadley then followed it up with a PR discus performance of 57.63m (188'9") to win the event and lock himself in with the 25th best distance in the West in 2025.
Elliotte Stockham - Pole Vault
Ellie Stockham punched her ticket to the West Region first round with her performance at the 2025 Big Sky Conference Outdoor track and Field Championships. On her 2nd jump, Stockham cleared the bar at 4.19m (13'9") to pull herself up to 41st in the West Region, earning a spot at the meet
Kylee Dimick - High Jump
Dimick qualified for her 3rd West Preliminary round meet at the 2025 Buc Scoring meet in Spokane, Wash., as she competed in the heptathlon. During the high jump section, Dimick continued clearing height after height, eventually leaping over the bar at 1.82m (5'11.5") a new personal best for the Bengal athlete and punching her ticket to College Station tied for 16th in the West in the high jump.
Katelyn Dickemore - Javelin
Katelyn earned her way into the 2025 NCAA West Region First Round meet with an explosive year for the Bengals. At the 2025 Bengal Invitational, in front of the home crowd, Dickemore had a dominant Javelin performance. On just her 2nd throw of the day, The Bengal launched her javelin a new personal best of 48.88m (160'4"), 29th farthest in the West Region in 2025, earning a spot at the NCAA meet.
Maddix Blazovich - Pole Vault
The Bengal freshman exploded on the scene this year in the pole vault. At the 2025 Big Sky Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Blazovich cleared a personal best height of 5.20m (17' 0.75"). The mark earned Blazovich the first all-conference honors of his young career and ranked him 44th in the West, earning him a spot at the West Region meet.
