NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Junior
Logan Henderson won the decathlon at the CSUN Multis earlier this week with 6668 points. Earlier this year, Henderson finished second in the heptathlon at the Big Sky Championships with 5356 points, third-best all-time for Idaho State.
Henderson's run was highlighted by wins in the 400m (48.98) and the 1500m (4:19.50).
Kimball Hardman won the 100m dash with a time of 11.20,
Justin Critser-Lucas won the high jump with a height of 6-03.50,
Derek Puckett won the discus with a distance of 117-02 and
Billy Phillips won the shot put with a distance of 43-03.00.
Kyle Searle had second-place finishes in the 400m and pole vault.
Shayla Richardson-Neibaur led the women with a third-place finish in the heptathlon. She scored 4292 points. Her run was highlighted by second-place finishes in the 100m hurdles (15.22) and shot put (34-06.25).
Gretchen Lohse won the women's shot put with a distance of 38-11.50 and
Brittany Hottel won the high jump with a height of 5-03.75.
The Bengals continue their outdoor season next weekend at the Utah Valley Invitational on March 29.
