Track Wraps Up Competition at UVU

RESULTS 

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State track and field teams wrapped competition at the UVU Collegiate Invitational on Friday in Orem, Utah.

The Bengals had many athletes compete well in the final day.

Destinee Rose-Haas finished first in the hammer throw with a mark of 193-10.50 (59.09 meters). That mark gave her the second best throw in program history.  She also competed unattached in the discus and threw 160.10 (49.02). That mark would rank No. 2 in the ISU Outdoor record book.

Elizabeth Butler ran a 24.86 in the 200m final. That time was just shy of an outdoor school Top 10 mark.

Kodee Vining finished third in the 200m  with a time of 21.92 and fourth in the final of the 100m at 11.14 seconds.

Zachary Cox took first in the 400m hurdles with a time of 52.92 seconds.

Presley Timmons finished second in the 800m race after recording a time of 2:12.69.

Zak Montoya finished the 3,000 meter race in 8:39.35 while Joe Petty ran a time of 15:24.45 in the 5,000m. Sam Jones finished the same race in a time of 15:28.95.

Briana Hagler took home first in the triple jump with a jump of 37-08.75 (11.50m).

Keegan Luker had a throw of 162-05.50 (49.52m) in the mens hammer throw.

Idaho State next competes at Utah State on April 8-9.
