POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State women's golf team opened the 2022-23 season at the Hobble Creek Classic in Springville, Utah on Sept. 12-13.
The Bengals shot 949 for the three-round tournament, shooting a 314 in round 1, 318 in round 2 and 317 in round 3. Boise State won the tournament with a score of 883 while Weber State finished second with a score of 901.
Lexi Wilson led the Bengal scoring with a 232, shooting under an 80 in each round. She finished with a 78 in round 1, 79 in round 2 and 75 in round 3.
Lindsey Lloyd shot a 236 (79-76-81) and
Tyler Erickson shot a 243 (75-86-82).
Ainsley Snyder rounded out the team scoring with a 247 (86-82-79) and
Lauren Parish finished with a 248 (82-81-85).
Kyla Hoster and
Jenny Ensign competed individually. Hoster shot a 252 (89-83-80) while Ensign shot 252 (82-86-84).
The Bengals return to the course Sept. 19-20 for a tournament in Ogden, Utah at the Kelsey Chugg Invitational.
