POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State Bengals finished up the Bobcat Challenge in Bozeman Montana Saturday afternoon.
"I thought we had another weekend of solid performances," remarked Director of Track and Field Hillary Merkley. "The same people that performed well last week had solid performances this week and some of those top performers even improved their marks this week. I was glad to see some consistency from many of the others and we had a few other young athletes step up and be there in the mix."
For the second-straight week, the Idaho State track and field team had a strong team performance with multiple, new top-10 marks.
The Bengal throwers continue to improve each meet.
Starting in the weight throw, the men and women showed their strength. In the women's event, Destinee Rose-Haas took her second-straight victory, throwing a distance of 19.12m (62-8.75).
