Day 2 Results
 POCATELLO, Idaho – Kylee Dimick won the first championship of the 2023 Big Sky Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Greeley, Colo., Thursday afternoon. The Bengal multi-athletes battled pouring rain and overcame the weather with all three Bengals scoring points on day two of the competition.
Dimick won the 2023 Heptathlon with a strong day two performance capped by back-to-back wins in the Javelin throw and the 800m.
In the Javelin, Dimick heaved her final throw 34.80m (114-02) to pass the field by over a meter winning the event.
Then, headed into the competition's final event, Dimick outpaced the runner from Montana by three-tenths of a second to grab 750 points and lock in her victory.
 Dimick is now the fourth Bengal Champion in the event in the previous five years for the Orange and Black.
Cassie Robbins came in sixth for the Bengals in her first-ever Outdoor Championships. The Bengal sophomore finished the event with a personal best 4491 points and scored three valuable team points for the Bengal women.
ISU freshman Adam Jones wrapped up the men's decathlon Thursday afternoon. Jones put together a strong final day of competition to vault himself up from yesterday's finish.
Jones came in third in the discus with a throw of 32.54m (106-9) He then took fourth in the pole vault and the 1500m.
His strongest finish of the competition came in the javelin as he battled the other multi-athletes to finish second with a throw of 44.35m (145-06).
Jones finished the Decathlon with a new personal best score of 6151 points and earned four important points for the Bengal men's team score.
