Golf Wraps Up Regular Season, Prepares for Big Sky Championship

POCATELLO, Idaho - Idaho State women's golf wrapped up the 2023-24 regular season at the Bobcat Desert Classic at the Estrella Golf Club in Goodyear, AZ. 

The Bengals started off strong in round one of the tournament with four scoring sub-80 marks, led by Alexis Wilson's +1 73. The Bengals then shot a combined +31 on day two  with Wilson once again leading the Bengal pack with a +2 74 stroke low round. 

As a team, the Bengals improved on the final round of the tournament shooting a combined +29. Lauren Aasand led the Bengals in the final round with a +4 76.


Big Sky Championships 

The Idaho State Bengals now turn their attention to the culmination of all their hard work this season, the 2024 Big Sky Women's Golf Championships. 

The Championship tournament will be held at the Wigwam Golf Resort in Litchfield Park, AZ from April 15-17. Follow along with Idaho State Athletics social media accounts all three rounds as we follow our Bengals progress in the championships.
