Flagstaff, AZ – The Big Sky Indoor Championships kicked off with a thrilling display of competition, personal bests, and historic performances. From multi-event dominance to record-book rewrites, our athletes left their mark on the first day of action.
Dimick Shines in Pentathlon with All-Conference Honors
Kylee Dimick delivered a career-best performance in the women's pentathlon, tallying 3,793 points to secure second place. Not only was this a personal best, but it also ranks fourth all-time in program history. Her stellar showing earned her well-deserved All-Conference honors.
Dimick's pentathlon event results included:
- High Jump: 🥇 1st place – 1.74m (5'08.50")
- Shot Put: 🥉 3rd place – 11.66m (38'03.25") (PR)
- Long Jump: 🥉 3rd place – 5.28m (17'04.00")
Medeiros Makes History in the Long Jump
Teammate Kaila Medeiros also impressed in the pentathlon, finishing 6
th overall with a career best 3,469 points. The highlight of her day? A dominant win in the pentathlon long jump, where she soared to 5.82m (19'01.25"), a massive PR that now stands 4
th all-time in school history.
Stoelken & Jones in the Heptathlon Hunt
The men's heptathlon is still underway, but
Tom Stoelken is making his presence felt early. Sitting in 3
rd place with 2,723 points, Stoelken made a statement in the shot put, launching 13.41m (44') to secure a 1
st-place finish. He also notched two new career bests in both the 60mH and Long Jump.

Adam Jones is also in the mix, currently in 6
th place with 2,688 points heading into Day 2.
