SPOKANE, Wash. – Idaho State women's golf wrapped up the first 36 holes of the EWU Kalispel Invitational on Monday with a team score of 618 (+42), placing them in the middle of a competitive field at Kalispel Golf & Country Club.
Leading the way for the Bengals was Andrea Chin, who turned in rounds of 74 and 73 to sit at 147 (+3), good for ninth place on the leaderboard.
Behind Chin, Venus Yong (78–77) posted a steady 155 (+11) for 48th place, while Avery Bayer (79–77) finished close behind at 156 (+12), 53rd overall. Kaylie Parola (78–79) stands at 157 (+13), 56th place, and Izzy Hassebrock (83–77) carded a 160 (+16) to sit in 63rd.
Competing as an individual, Lauren Aasand rebounded from an opening 82 with a strong 77 in round two for a 159 (+15), 60th overall.
