Bengals Finish Fourth at Sun Mountain Intercollegiate
POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State women's golf earned a fourth-place team finish at the UM Sun Mountain Intercollegiate, held October 6–7 at The Ranch Club in Missoula. The Bengals posted rounds of 300, 306, and 298 for a 54-hole total of 904 (+40), finishing ahead of Big Sky foes Eastern Washington (+44) and Montana (+64).
Weber State won the tournament with a team score of 880 (+16), followed by Portland State (+22) and Idaho (+23).
Bengal Scorecard
Chin led the Bengals with a tie for ninth at 221 (+5). Hassebrock followed closely in a tie for 12th at 223 (+7) after opening the tournament with a 68, tied for the lowest round by any Idaho State player this fall and the 2nd lowest individual round in ISU women's golf history.
Parola's final-round 73 helped her move into a tie for 27th, while Aasand improved by four shots from her second round to finish tied for 32nd at 234 (+18). Yong rounded out the lineup with a strong finish, shooting a 74 in the final round to climb several spots and close at 248 (+32).
