BENGAL OVERVIEWIdaho State track and field kicks-off the indoor 2014-15 season with its annual inner-squad Tie-Dye Meet Friday, December 12, in Holt Arena. Field events begin at 3 p.m. and running events begin at 5:30 p.m.
ABOUT THE TIE-DYE MEETHead Track and Field Coach
Dave Nielsen first introduced the Tie-Dye meet in 1986 and it has continued to open the indoor season ever since. To warm up for the upcoming season the Bengals will compete against each other as well as alumni.
2014-15 SEASONFollowing the Tie-Dye meet the Bengals are set to host the Snake River Open January 16 and 17, Mountain States Games January 30 and 31 and the Bengal Decathlon and Heptathlon April 8 and 9.
CAITLIN MAULINReturning for the Bengals
Caitlin Maulin was named all-conference for her performance in the women's pole vault on the final day of the indoor Big Sky Championships last year. Maulin finished third overall with a height of 12-10.00.
LOGAN HENDERSONLogan Henderson, also returning for the Bengals, made his way into the Idaho State record books last year at the indoor Big Sky Championships with his second-place heptathlon score (5356 points).
