POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State Track and Field team is headed or Corvallis, Oregon to compete in the OSU High Performance Meet, Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1.

This meet will be an opportunity for the Bengals to compete against Big Sky Conference teams Montana, Montana State, and Eastern Washington before the conference meet in May. The team will also get experience competing against larger schools like Oregon, Oregon State, and Hawaii.

The meet will feature live results (click here for the link) but there will not be a live stream via Oregon State. Check out the track and field social media pages to keep updated on the meet. Â

The meet will be split into three sessions Friday and two sessions Saturday. On Friday, the field events hammer, pole vault, long jump, and discus will start off the day at 10:00 a.m. for session one. The 200m and 400m finals will start at 1:00 p.m. in session two. Day one will conclude with the distance carnival (session three) starting at 5:15 p.m.

On Saturday, the remaining field events javelin, high jump, shot put, and triple jump will begin at 11:00 a.m. in session four. The sprints will begin at 2:30 p.m. (session five) to conclude the meet.
