POCATELLO, Idaho – The Bengals got back after it on day two of the Weber State Invitational, Saturday afternoon in Ogden, Utah.

"Kapri had a great day yesterday and Kyndal had another outstanding meet with hurdles, that mark in the 55 and a great 400 and 4x400 she's really doing what not a lot of people can do. It was impressive. Zach had a good day with his hurdles and Brody Burch ran an amazing leg of the 4x4 to pull out a win for that team. Jay Wadley also had over a meter PR in shot yesterday and some younger athletes are making improvements. Â

Weber State Invite Day 2
The Day started with the prelims of the 55m Hurdles. On the women's side Kyndal Martin, Josie Settle and Jordan Dayley all advanced to the afternoon's finals.
Martin didn't disappoint in the finals, setting a new school record in the event with a time of 7.83 seconds, breaking Cassie Merkley's record previously set in 2008. Martin's time is tied for the 3rd best in Idaho State History. This is the second week in a row, Martin has entered the Big Sky Record List.
In the men's 55m hurdles, Zach Cox came out strong in the final, winning the event with the seventh-fastest mark in school history.
In the men's 55m dash finals, Khutisa Rampete came in fourth with a personal best 6.51 seconds.
In the women's 400m, Martin came back strong, taking silver with a personal best time of 57.33 seconds.
The women's 4x400 team of Tenleigh Smith, Josie Settle, Presley Timmons and Kyndal Martin took second against other teams from ISU, Weber State and Utah State.
On the men's side, the team of Braxton Hurst, Augustas Haynes, Zach Cox and Brody Burch won their 4x400 with a time of 3:21.44
