POCATELLO, Idaho -- Andrea Chin turned in the 11th-best 36-hole score in Idaho State women's golf history on Monday, posting a 4-over 148 to lead the Bengals through the first day of the Wolverine Invitational at Talons Cove at Saratoga Springs.
Idaho State sits fifth in the team standings at 23-over through two rounds, with the final round set for Tuesday.
Bengal Bites
Chin's 148 ties her for 12th individually and stands as the 11th-best 36-hole total in program history. She was even par in the second round, highlighted by five birdies against just as many bogeys.
Kaylie Parola sits tied for 20th at 7-over 151 through two rounds, carding a 73 in the opening round before a 78 on Monday afternoon. New Bengal Erica Wang is tied for 25th at 8-over 152 (74-78).
Izzy Hassebrock and Avery Bayer are both tied for 40th at 11-over 155, with Hassebrock posting an 82-73 and Bayer a 76-79. Sarah Chen sits tied for 48th at 13-over 157 (75-82).
Playing as individuals, Venus Yong is tied for 29th at 9-over 153 (78-75) and Lauren Aasand is tied for 55th at 15-over 159 (80-79).
