Personal: Lewis is majoring in Business at Idaho State and attended Liberty High School in Bakersfield, California, where he was coached by Bryan Nixon and played outside linebacker, safety, and wide receiver. He earned President's List academic honors and was named first team all-league during his junior college career, while also receiving third team JUCO All-America recognition. Lewis said he chose Idaho State because of the players and staff. Outside of football, he enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and hiking, listens to R&B before games, and lists Brian Dawkins as his favorite NFL player. He comes from an athletic family, with his father having played football, and added that he is excited to continue developing at the Division I level.
