Personal: Kavanagh, who goes by Jeffrey, is majoring in History at Idaho State and attended Quartz Hill High School in Palmdale, California, where he was coached by Russell Gordon and played safety, punter, and kicker. He said he chose Idaho State because of the coaching staff and the opportunity to compete at the Division I level. Outside of football, he enjoys golfing, listens to 90s alternative rock before games, supports the Los Angeles Rams, and comes from an athletic family, with his mother having played softball at Arizona State University.
