Utah Tech (2024): Played in seven games during the 2024 season as a sophomore...Made two starts along the offensive line, one at center and one at right guard.

Utah Tech (2023): Appeared in nine games during the 2023 season as a true freshman.

Personal: Maluia is majoring in University Studies at Idaho State and attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, where he helped lead the program to consecutive Nevada state championships and earned all-Southern Nevada second team recognition. He also spent two seasons at Trinity High School in Texas, where he was a two-time Texas 6A first team all-district selection and earned Texas 6A-Division I all-state honorable mention honors. Maluia plays center and guard, is a fan of the San Francisco 49ers, and comes from an athletic family led by parents Alofaletauia and Vala Maluia.
