Idaho State: 2011: Played and started in all 11 games at will linebacker ... had 59 tackles on the season, which ranked third on the team ... recorded a career-high nine tackles vs. Montana ... had 5.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and three quarterback hurries ... had eight tackles on Senior Day against Eastern Washington.  

2010 Played in all 11 games for the Bengals … started the season at linebacker, but moved to fullback partway through the season … had two total tackles on the season, both coming against Montana-Western … on offense, Albers had three receptions for 27 yards for the year … had his first career reception versus Northern Arizona for no gain … had one catch for 13 yards, giving the Bengals a key first down against Montana … Albers had another reception for 14 yards against Weber State the following week … Albers was a key part to the running game of the bengals, as well as an important special teamer.

2009: Played in all 11 games for Idaho State as a reserve linebacker and special teams player ... recorded 24 tackles on the season, including 2.0 tackles for loss ... also recovered a fumble and broke up a pair of passes ... recorded a career-high six tackles along with 1.5 tackles for loss against Eastern Washington .... added five tackles against Northern Arizona ... had four tackles vs. Oklahoma and three vs. Northern Colorado ... recovered a fumble against Montana State ... also broke up a pass against MSU and added another against Oklahoma.

2008: Played in all 12 games, mostly on special teams ... recorded 10 tackles on the season, three on special teams, and all of those on kickoff returns ... recorded a career-best three tackles against both Northern Colorado and Weber State ... his three tackles against the Wildcats all came on the same series ... had a pair of special teams tackles against Montana.

2007: Redshirted.

High School: Lettered in football for three years and basketball for two at Graham-Kapowsin High School ... was selected to The Tacoma News Tribune All-Area team ... was named SPSL South Co-Linebacker of the Year and First Team All-SPSL as well ... also earned the honor for linebacker in 2005, and on offense he was all-conference in both 2005 and 2006 ... was named Associated Press All-Washington at linebacker in 2006 as well as being named First Team WashingtonPreps.com All-State ... as a running back, he gained more than 1,000 yards rushing in 2006, and scored five touchdowns in one game against Beamer High School ... helped Graham-Kepows in to the state playoffs in 2006 ... participated in the East-West Game in 2007 ... also won the Academic Achievement Award and was a four-year member of the honor society at GKHS ... in basketball, he earned the teams 'Mr. Defense' Award in 2005.
