Personal: Johnson, who goes by KJ, is majoring in Business at Idaho State and attended St. Genevieve High School in California, where he was coached by Jamere Austin. He transitioned to cornerback for the first time during his junior college career and highlighted his defensive production with four interceptions in his first season at the position. Johnson competed with Premium and said he chose Idaho State because he trusts what the coaching staff is building. Outside of football, he enjoys sightseeing, listens to "9" by Dean Blunt before games, supports the New York Giants, and can be found on Instagram (@kjaayy_).
